Privacy Magic is built to protect your privacy from advertisers and trackers who would like to spy on you through your browser. This Privacy Policy is about something different: it's about how we handle your data ourselves.

The Privacy Magic browser extension contains no analytics or telemetry: it doesn't collect any private data about you or send any personal data to our servers. We don't know who you are, how you browse, or your browser settings, and we don't try to find out. We don't have any data to share about you with third parties. The extension regularly fetches a remote setting file but it's the same for everyone and we don't use it to collect information.

The Chrome Web Store, which distributes the extension, provides us (and all extension developers) with aggregate install, uninstall, and user counts (broken down by language, region, or operating system), and web store impressions. We do not receive a list of individuals who installed Privacy Magic. Google's collection of store data is covered by Google's privacy policy.

We will never use Privacy Magic for advertising or tracking. We will never make you the product. The only way we would ever make money from you is if you chose to be a customer.

Our website also contains no analytics. We don't know how many visitors it has, or who they are. We will never share or sell data about you.
